1. How does the system work?
Each attendee's badge includes a unique bar code that matches the attendee's ID within the registration database. The scanner reads the bar code and stores the ID. The scanner can be brought back to the lead retrieval booth at the end of each day or the end of the show in order to download the data.
2. What data do I get and in what format?
The data can be delivered in hard copy during the show and can also be emailed in Excel format to the vendors. You will be provided with the name, company, address, phone and email of the leads you scan.
3. How many bar codes can the scanner hold?
The scanner can hold about 400 bar codes before it will need to be downloaded.
4. Where and when do I get the scanner?
There will be a lead retrieval booth on-site at the show where you will pick-up your scanner. You will also drop off the scanner after the show at this same booth.
5. Do I need electricity in my booth?
No electricity is needed. The scanners are battery operated.
6. Can I have more than one scanner at my booth?
Absolutely! There is no limit to the number of scanners you can rent for your booth.
7. Can I use the scanner outside my booth?
Yes! The scanner is fully portable and can easily fit into a pants pocket. You can take it to networking events or use it while moving about the show floor.
